STRAWBERRY MOON

The series was shot during the “Strawberry Full Moon.” In June, the Moon occupies a special position in the sky: sunlight illuminates it from a specific angle, creating the effect of a reddish, strawberry-like hue.

There is a belief that the June full moon exposes the subconscious. Lunar energy becomes so powerful that one loses self-control. In this state, the boundary between consciousness and the subconscious thins: desires grow louder than reason, impulses grow stronger than will, and hidden feelings rise to the surface.

As a magical symbol, strawberry carries the same duality. On one hand — a connection with Aphrodite, fertility, openness. On the other — with witchcraft cults, forbidden rituals, and that side of desire which is meant to be hidden.

The heroine of this shoot exists between these two poles. The industrial landscape transforms into a place where the forbidden becomes possible.

The project expands beyond a single medium. Its narrative dimension was featured in Darkly Art Magazine, while a short multimedia art film has been presented at international festivals.

The series is shot in my signature cinematic aesthetic. To enhance artistic expression, selected images are refined with AI.
